Estimapp — The Quoting App

Estimap is a free cross-platform hybrid app that walks you through the deep and entangled forest of app development costs.

How much does it cost to make an app? Most freelancers and business owners make estimates on a daily basis. Clients are always interested in ballpark figures, and they want them as soon as possible.

Free Estimapp apps are built in a form of quiz. A sales person can take it to a meeting. A freelancer can produce a quick estimate on-the-go and share it with the client or a business partner.

The app is using one of the modern and fast-growing frameworks, React.js rival, called Ionic. This tool allows for building iOS/Android and desktop apps using the same code base.

As a result, the notion of supporting multiple platforms at the launch became the primary design challenge for me.

I had to test the layouts and the proposed UX/UI solutions for several media: mobile, tablet, and desktop. Designed as if this app was a responsive website, but bearing in mind the restrictions that arose naturally from Ionic.

The client shared that the range of Estimapp apps brought a range of plausible leads and in several cases converted into the closed deals. A very solid ROI in his case.
