An innovative way to train your brain's abilities. 

The range of Mindway iOS/Android apps provides the means of training your brain's abilities by measuring the actual brain activity. This was made possible via brain-sensing headbands like Neurosky Mobile, Muse, or Melon.

The Mindway company is aiming to create a unique cross-platform, multi-device range of applications that would help the user to greatly improve your brain abilities using any of modern innovative brain-reading gadgets available.

Having just one metric, focus/meditation, the most challenging part was to gamify it: to make it into the game and make it fun. Working with the hardware made it more interesting (and challenging as well).

The animations have been completed in SpriteKit, a cross-platform framework similar to early versions of Adobe Flash.

The Mindway apps allow you to grow your galaxy by focusing/relaxing your brain. There is a tricky formula in place to consider not just user's brain stamina, but also the power and robustness of the thought.

I worked in close collaboration with Thought-Wired, the startup that helps paralyzed people to access a computer via brain-reading devices.
