FastWord is a competitive word game where players race to create words before letters disappear from the grid. Matches combine vocabulary, speed, and strategy, challenging players to choose between longer high-scoring words and faster moves that put pressure on their opponent.

Word games needed more than vocabulary
Traditional word games often rewarded either vocabulary or speed, but rarely created meaningful interaction between opponents. The challenge was to design a simple mobile game where every move affected the other player, combining word skills, timing, and tactical decisions into short competitive matches.

Players create words from letters in any order, making the game easy to understand while leaving room for different strategies.
Time-driven competition
Letters disappear based on when the leading player used them, forcing the chasing player to react before valuable opportunities vanish.
