COVID-19 booking system for Māori health
A digital platform developed for Te Kōhao Health, with a focus on a COVID-19 vaccination booking system that enabled thousands of appointments across multiple locations. Alongside the system, the project included a full website redesign, web app, and tools to support Māori health services and community engagement.
The problem
No reliable system for vaccine booking
Existing government booking systems were difficult to use and did not meet the needs of the Māori community. There was no reliable way to manage appointments across locations, coordinate staff, or track vaccination data, creating barriers to efficient rollout and access to care.
